Dr. Charles George Liddle passed away peacefully on Anna Maria Island on April 19, 2018, Bradenton Beach, Fla.

He was born in Detroit, Mich. to George Liddle and Leona Spietz Liddle. He served in the U.S. Army.

Charles and his wife Beverly were residents of Buena Vista for 20 years.

He earned his doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University, and a Masters Degree in Radiation Biology from the University of Rochester. Charles also served in the U.S. Public Health service.

Charles loved music and played in the Michigan State marching band, the Washington Redskins marching band, the Alpine Orchestra, The Little German Band, the Manatee Concert Band and the Jazz Band in Colorado.

Charles is lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Beverly, and his children Robert (and wife Julie) of Raleigh, N.C., and Paul of West Palm Beach, Fla.

He will be missed by his two grandchildren, Wesslen, and Cassidy.

He was predeceased by his son Richard Liddle and daughter Sally Liddle Balekomoso.

Services will be held April 27, 2 p.m. in Raleigh, N.C. Charles will be buried at The Historic Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh, N.C.
