Bring your family, friends, students or coworkers to spend the day outdoors giving back to your community by volunteering to help maintain the public lands that make up so much of Chaffee County.

On Saturday, Sept. 23, Friends of Browns Canyon will partner with the Bureau of Land Management to offer a work day in recognition of National Public Lands Day 2017.

Completing maintenance and reclamation on the recently renovated Ruby Mountain Trailhead is the day’s goal.Work will begin about 8-8:30 a.m. and all volunteers will be provided with lunch and a T-shirt.

Please pre-register so we know how many lunches to bring. Call, text or email Logan Myers with Friends of Browns Canyon at 719-229-9333 or lwmyers81@hotmail.com.
