The Buena Vista Lady Demon soccer team made up their final game of the season from a weather cancellation May 7 against Ellicott.

They posted their first win of the season 2-0 and propelled the team into the offseason with high hopes for next year.

Jamison Litvay scored both goals with assists coming from Maddie Atha and Tori McManamay.

“Every single person made a huge impact on the team this year,” said coach Olivia Fear. “We had such a small number of girls and they were willing to play anywhere on the field and mix up their positions and try something new.

“We are all excited for next year because we have a lot of returning players,” Fear said.
