It seems like common sense that the person who gets the most votes should win an election, but that’s not how it is when we vote for president.

Thankfully, in Colorado we passed the national popular vote law to get rid of anomaly elections like Trump vs. Clinton, where the person with the second-most votes gets to become president.

I hope other states will get on board with the national popular vote so that the winner is truly the winner in future presidential elections.

Right now, there are people trying to get the national popular vote law repealed.

They’re using shady tactics to get us to vote against our own best interest.

We need to stand up for ourselves and protect the national popular vote law that we just passed.
