In order to save rural land in Chaffee County, the Centerville Ranch Conservation Easement needs private contributions of $100,000 by 8-1-2019.

This is a first step in preserving 650 acres of Arkansas Valley wet lands which has having multiple springs, a land that is part of deer and elk migration corridors with 400 acres of irrigated hay meadows.

This land along the Arkansas River south to Brown’s Canyon National Monument  will be preserved if we act in the time that is left.

The next $25,000 dollars of private contributions are matched dollar for dollar.

Whether one lives in the Denver area or in any rural parts of Colorado, we all enjoy the beauty of our state.

Please consider making a contribution to permanently save this Arkansas Valley land, waters and wildlife by sending a check to Central Colorado Conservancy, P.O. Box 94, Salida, CO, designating Centerville ranch conservation easement on your check.
