The Buena Vista Police Department reported the following for the month of June, 2019:

Denver resident Jeffrey Martin, 42, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on June 1.

Resident of Japan Yoshiko Suematsu, 37, was arrested and taken to CCDC on charges of DUI in the area of Centennial Plaza on June 1.

Poncha Springs resident Eugenia Schleski, 74, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Gregg Drive on June 1.

Boulder resident Daniel Fischer, 29, was issued a summons to municipal court on charges of open container prohibited in the area of U.S. 24 South on June 2.

Tigard, Ore. resident Nicholas Win, 26, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on June 2.

Colorado Springs resident Kevin Comiskey, 42, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Gregg Drive on June 2.

Dever resident Christopher Koons, 35, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of West Main Street on June 3.

Colorado Springs resident Keith Steed, 30, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 10-19 MPH over the posted limit in the area of West Main Street on June 7.

Winchester, Tenn. resident Jordan Buchanan, 24, was issued a summons to county court on charges of displayed expired plates in the area of East Main Street on June 7.

Battleboro, Vt. resident Brett Dodge, 56, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on June 7.

Buena Vista resident Baylee Horton, 22, was issued a citation on charges of careless driving in the area of U.S. 24 South.

Green Mountain Falls resident Judy Piazza, 65, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Rodeo Road on June 8.

Crestone resident Elizabeth Karras, 71, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on June 8.

Fishers, Ind. resident Thomas Warmus, 50, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on June 8.

Buena Vista resident James Holmes, 28, was issued a summons to county court on charges of displayed expired license plates in the area of Cedar Street on June 9.

Buena Vista resident Jayla Atnip, 19, was arrested and taken to CCDC on charges of third degree assault, harassment, domestic violence and criminal mischief in the area of East Pine Street.

Newburgh, Ind. resident Shane Thread, 55, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on June 12.

Denver resident Nathaniel Cullen, 36, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on June 14.

Colorado Springs resident Donald Frisch, 41, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on June 14.

Frisco, Tex. resident Robert Faulkner, 81, was issued a citation on charges on speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Gregg Drive on June 14.

Littleton resident Michael Montgomery, 36, was arrested and taken to CCDC on charges of drove vehicle when license under restrain (denied) and Montgomery was also booked on a warrant for failure to appear from Teller County, Montgomery was also charged with speeding 10-19 MPH over the posted limit. The arrest took place in the area of Rodeo Road on June 14.

Spring, Tex. resident Edward Parsad, 38, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of West Main Street on June 15.

Salida resident Riley Wayman, 21, was issued a summons to municipal court on charges of operated vehicle - no insurance in the area of U.S. 24 South on June 15.

Buena Vista resident Faith Rumfelt, 40, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear from Chaffee County. Rumfelt was arrested in the area of East Main Street on June 15.

Buena Vista resident Laura Hart, 36, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 10-19 MPH over the posted limit in the area of West Main Street on June 16.

Denver resident Corinne O’Rourke, 39, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Crossman Avenue on June 17.

Ashland, Va. resident Noah Grate, 22, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of U.S. 24 South on June 18.

Broomfield, Conn. resident Mollie Gaudet, 19, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on June 18.

Silverthorne resident Timothy Montez, 21, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Rodeo Road on June 18.

Buena Vista resident Bruce McCord, 53, was issued a summons to county court on charges of drove vehicle when license under restraint (cancelled/denied), compulsory insurance - failed to present upon request and vehicle had only one number plate attached. Summons was issued in the area of West Main Street on June 19.

Buena Vista resident Cameron Walsh, 53, was arrested and taken to CCDC on charges of protection order violation and obstructing a peace officer in the area of Antero Circle on June 21.

Tallahassee, Fla. resident Timothy Murphy, 36, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on June 21.

Baton Rouge, La. resident Ernest Holt, 75, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Gregg drive on June 23.

Buena Vista resident Alison Zupetz, 18, was issued a citation on charges of speeding5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Gregg Drive on June 23.

Louisville, Ky. resident Matthias Kolehmainen, 49, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Arizona Street on June 23.

Colorado Springs resident Gregory Smalley, 50, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on June 24.

Colorado Springs resident Jennifer Blair, 27, was arrested and taken to CCDC on charges of third degree assault, criminal mischief and harassment in the area of U.S. 24 South on June 24.

Austin, Tex. resident Jason Brooks, 38, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH on June 24.

Ypsilanti, Mich. resident John Curran, 51, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on June 26.

Longview, Tex. resident Jon Wright, 47, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on June 26.

Buena Vista resident Melissa Traynham, 38, was arrested and taken to CCDC on charges of DUI in the area of South Railroad Street on June 27.

Boulder resident Melanie Yee, 42, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Rodeo Road on June 27.

Thornton resident Jennifer Hackler, 25, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Arizona Street on June 28.

Denver resident Clay Bandy, 58, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Arizona Street on June 28.

Morrison resident Jopseph Thurston, 21, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of U.S. 24 North on June 28.

Buena Vista resident Desiree Vigil, 33, was arrested and taken to CCDC on charges of third degree assault, harassment and domestic violence in the area of Baylor Drive on June 29.

Fort Collins resident Colleen Meyer, 25, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of U.S. 24 South on June 29.

Buena Vista resident Nicholas Arnold, 34, was issued a summons to municipal court on charges of barking dog in the area of Essex Street on June 30.

Individuals charged with a crime are considered to be innocent until they plead or are found guilty. Anyone listed here who subsequently has charges dropped or is found to be innocent can contact the The Chaffee County Times, and this updated information will be published.
