The Buena Vista Police Department reported the following for the month of May, 2019:

Callman, Ala. resident Mary Cook, 25, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 10-19 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on May 1.

Buena Vista resident Abigail Owens, 32, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 10-19 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on May 1.

Buena Vista resident Katherine McCoy, 73, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 10-19 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street May 7.

Buena Vista resident William Keathley, 64, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Gregg Drive on May 8.

Buena Vista resident Marilyn Propernick, 65, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Crossman Avenue on May 8.

Buena Vista resident Dru Domejka, 18, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Crossman Avenue on May 9.

Salida resident Rebecca Hochard, 42, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Arizona Street on May 10.

Lawton, Okla. resident Darla Roberson, 63, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Rodeo Road on May 11.

Buena Vista resident Corinne O’Rourke, 39, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Rodeo Road on May 11.

Denver resident Kaila Hood, 24, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Arizona Street.

Nederland resident Erick Merkt, 41, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of US Highway 24 South on May 11.

Denver resident Kenneth Bagus, 69, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on May 11.

Colorado Springs resident Eric Schreiber, 44, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on May 11.

Buena Vista resident Jordan Cunliffe, 28, was issued a summons to Municipal Court on charges of operated vehicle- no insurance and child restraint systems. Cunliffe was also charged with speeding 10-19 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Crossman Avenue on May 11.

Cherry Millhouse-Farley was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of West Main Street on May 11.

Colorado Springs resident Renae Paris, 54, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Gregg Drive on May 11.

Scarborough, Maine resident Bruce Weaver was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Rodeo Road on May 11.

Salida resident Garrett O’Neal, 21, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of West Main Street on May 11.

Buena Vista resident Tammy Tolliver, 39, was arrested and taken to CCDC on 2 warrants from Chaffee County in the area of U.S. Highway 24 South on May 12.

Buena Vista resident Robert Marken, 62, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of South Railroad Street on May 13.

Buena Vista resident Catherine Leimbach, 54, was arrested and taken to CCDC on charges of 3rd degree assault. Leimbach was arrested in the area of South San Juan Avenue on May 13.

Arvada resident Daniel Howell, 34, was arrested and taken to CCDC on a warrant from Jefferson County in the area of East Main Street on May 13.

Buena Vista resident Serenety Turnbull, 22, was issued a citation on charges of unlawful behavior in the area of Trenton Street on May 23.

A 16-year-old female from Buena Vista was issued a summons to County Court on charges of illegal possession / consumption of alcohol by an underage person in the area of Trenton Street on May 13.

Buena Vista resident Mahdi Rasheed Mullenax was arrested and taken to CCDC on two warrants from Chaffee County. Mullenax was arrested in the area of Ponderosa Place.

Dillon resident Randall Cox, 70, was issued a summons to Municipal Court on charges of Operated Vehicle - No Insurance. Cox was also charged with Limitations on backing in the area of James Street on May 15.

Buena Vista resident Timothy Montez, 21, was issued a summons to county court on charges of unlawful acts in the area of Trenton Street on May 15.

Buena Vista resident Noah Welch, 37, was arrested on a warrant from Chaffee County in the area of Nighthawk Road on May 16.

Houston, Texas resident Kyle Zapata, 25, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of West Main Street on May 18.

Frederick, Md. resident Sinavaiana Smith, 35, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Rodeo Road on May 18.

Denver resident Anna Shughart, 68, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of US Highway 24 South.

Buena Vista resident Devin Gardner, 27, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of US Highway 24 South on May 18.

Denver resident Angelica Martinez, 37, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 20-24 MPH over the posted limit in the area of US Highway 24 South on May 23.

Lakewood resident Amanda Hajoglou, 40, was issued a citation on charges of disregarded stop sign in the area of South Main Street on May 24.

Buena Vista resident Debra Bumann-Bronner, 66, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Crossman Avenue on May 24.

Denver resident Ana Yasmineh, 27, was issued a summons to county court on charges of drove vehicle when license under restraint (suspended) in the area of East Main Street on May 24.

Salida resident Graham Yeiser, 30, was issued a summons to county court on charges of drove vehicle when license under restraint (revoked) and compulsory insurance in the area of US Highway 24 North on May 25.

Superior resident Benjamin Nelson, 35, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on May 25.

Denver resident Sarah Engel, 37, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Crossman Avenue on May 25.

Madison, Ala. resident James Walker, 48, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Arizona Street on May 25.

Wellsville, Kan. resident Shammah Durso, 37, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Rodeo Road on May 25.

St. Simons Island, Ga. resident Jonathan James, 32, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Arizona Street on May 25.

Keene, New Hampshire resident Zachary Clark, 29, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Arizona Street on May 25.

Buena Vista resident Barry Stevens, 33, was issued a summons to Municipal Court on charges of operated vehicle - no insurance. Stevens was also charged with speeding 10-19 MPH over the posted limit. Summons was issued in the area of Rodeo Road on May 26.

Northfield, N.M. resident Merilee Sander, 58, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of West Main Street on May 30.

Buena Vista resident Andrew Medrano, 29, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of West Main Street on May 30.

Denver resident Ariel Rosemberg, 34, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of South Main Street on May 30.

Mount Bethel, Pa. resident Olav Sandes, 59, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on May 31.

Individuals charged with a crime are considered to be innocent until they plead or are found guilty. Anyone listed here who subsequently has charges dropped or is found to be innocent can contact the The Chaffee County Times, and this updated information will be published.
