A group of South Koreans took in some of the sights around Buena Vista, and local Rotarians made new friends and learned more about South Korea. The five Koreans have been touring Colorado businesses as part of a Rotary Group Study Exchange. They were selected from South Korean Rotary District 3720 which is located in the city of Ulson.
The team came to BV on Friday from Eagle, and later that day toured the Jumpin’ Good Goat Dairy and Weathervane Farms. On Saturday the tours included Mt Princeton Greenhouses, Erin Schieren’s Greenhouse, and the Mt Princeton Hot Springs Resort. A soaking in the pools was enjoyed by all. Later in the day the team joined Buena Vista Rotarians and spouses for a picnic at The Reserve. The group was treated to a floral display demonstration by Team Leader Seon-ok Kim, who goes by her American name of “Sunny” while in Colorado. Sunny was President of her Rotary club in Ulsan. She is a master level floral designer whose business makes her a regular visitor to the U.S.
