Six kids tested their arm strength, speed and swings Saturday during the Rockies Baseball Skills Challenge at Marvin Park.
The competition, for kids ages 6-13, featured three challenges. One tested how far they could throw a baseball. A second one timed how fast they could run around the bases. The third challenge tested how far they could hit a baseball off a tee.
In the boys ages 8-9 division, Max Cooper finished first and Brody Zeleznikar finished second.
Buena Vistan Macy Reavis, 9, was the only girl who competed in the challenge but had some big throws to win her division.
Keaden Lake won the boys 10-11 division.
In the boys 12-13 division, Caiven Lake took first and Kaiden Zeleznikar placed second.
