The Buena Vista Police Department reported the following activity for August 2019.

Buena Vista resident Justin Wynia, 38, was issued a summons to county court on charges of drove when license under restraint (suspended) and compulsory insurance - failed to present upon request in the area of West Main Street on Aug. 1

Rifle resident Craig Morton, 34, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on Aug. 2.

Oak Brook, Il. resident Eugene Dondlinger, 71, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on Aug. 3.

New Canaan, Conn. resident David Goodwing, 48, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on Aug. 4.

Denver resident Ashleigh Stumler, 31, was issued a citation on charges of Disregarded Stop Sign in the area of Court Street on Aug. 5.

Buena Vista resident Barbara Pearse, 54, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Gregg Drive on Aug. 5.

Denver resident Jennifer Titus, 39, was issued a summons to county court on charges of displayed expired license plates and compulsory insurance - failed to present upon request in the area of US Highway 24 South on Aug. 7.

Marlow, Ok. resident Sharon Bearden, 61, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of West Main Street on Aug. 7.

Alamosa resident Lloyd Jones, 43, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of West Main Street on Aug. 8.

Buena Vista resident Mahdi Rasheed Mullenax, 33, was arrested and taken to CCDC on a warrant from Chaffee County. Mullenax was also charged with assault in the second degree and resisting arrest in the area of Mill Street on Aug. 11.

Tyler, Tex. resident Leonard Davis, 71, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Gregg Drive on Aug. 16.

Leadville resident Enrique Baca, 18, was issued a summons to county court on charges of Compulsory Insurance - failed to present upon request in the area of South Railroad Street on Aug. 16.

Grand Junction resident Samuel Ortega jr., 26, was arrested and taken to CCDC on charges of D.U.I. in the area of Kathy Drive on Aug. 17.

Silverthorne resident Rachel Rich, 40, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Rodeo Road.

Buena Vista resident Andrew Frazier, 25, was issued a summons to county court on charges of careless driving, duty upon striking unattended vehicle and duty to report accident in the area of Cedar Street on Aug. 18.

Nathrop resident Dana Blackwell, 28, was arrested and taken to CCDC on a warrant from Chaffee County in the area of Alsina Street on Aug. 23.

Denver resident Anthony Zavala, 34, was arrested and taken to CCDC on a warrant from Prowers County in the area of Alsina Street on Aug. 23.

Salida resident Sierra Williams, 34, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of US highway 24 South on Aug. 23.

Dever resident Matthew Lane, 30, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Crossman Avenue on Aug. 24.

Palmer Lake resident Curtis Reese, 67, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Crossman Avenue on Aug. 24.

Lone Tree resident Avery Potter, 28, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Crossman Avenue on Aug. 24.

Buena Vista resident Michael Dolan, 74, was issued a citation on charges of disregarded traffic control device in the area of US Highway 24 on Aug. 26.

Fort Collins resident Lisa Hansen, 38, was arrested and taken to CCDC on charges of D.U.I and D.U.I. per se. Hansen was also charged with failed to drive in a single lane (weaving). She was arrested in the area of US Highway 24 North on Aug. 30.

Buena Vista resident Kurt Miller, 67, was issued a citation on charges of disregarded barricade in the area of Waters Avenue on Aug. 30.

Akron, Oh. resident Richard Lowry, 76, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of West Main Street on Aug. 31.

Hartsel resident Rebecca Hutcheson, 56, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of Arizona Street on Aug. 31.

Denver resident Rachel Regan, 35, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on Aug. 31.

Colorado Springs resident Todd James, 47, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 1-4 MPH over the posted limit in the area of East Main Street on Aug. 31.

Monument resident Jennifer Raulie, 45, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of WestMain Street on Aug. 31.

Arvada resident Kelly DePalo, 53, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of West Main Street on Aug. 31.

Buena Vista resident Jason Roecker, 44, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 5-9 MPH over the posted limit in the area of West Main Street on Aug. 31.

Pueblo resident Cainan Hesseltine, 21, was issued a citation on charges of disregarded stop sign in the area of Baylor Drive on Aug. 31.

Buena Vista resident Ruby Hale, 36, was arrested and taken to CCDC on charges of D.U.I and D.U.I per se. Hale was also charged with careless driving. The arrest took place in the area of North Sangre De Cristo Avenue on Aug. 31.

Alexandria, Va. resident Oscar Ortiz-Mena, 48, was issued a summons to county court on charges of driving vehicle without a valid license in the area of US Highway 24 North on Aug. 31.

Buena Vista resident Robert Lewis, 49, was arrested and taken to CCDC on a warrant from Park County in the area of East Main Street on Aug. 31.

Parker resident Matthew Obert, 44, was issued a citation on charges of speeding 10-19 MPH over the posted limit in the area of West Main Street.

Individuals charged with a crime are considered to be innocent until they plead or are found guilty. Anyone listed here who subsequently has charges dropped or is found to be innocent can contact the The Chaffee County Times, and this updated information will be published.
