Railroad Gulch

Railroad Gulch lies at the southern boundary of Browns Canyon National Monument. One of the most iconic features in the Browns Canyon landscape, Railroad Gulch is one of the many local sites that would be adversely affected by the BLM’s proposed elimination of public land protections in the Upper Arkansas Valley.

The Bureau of Land Management and the US Forest Service have published the Draft Resource Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Browns Canyon National Monument (BCNM).

The Federal Register Notice of Availability can be reviewed at https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2019/10/04/2019-21560/notice-of-availability-of-the-draft-resource-management-plan-and-associated-environmental-impact
