Wildflowers blooming late on Cottonwood Pass

This photo taken Saturday, Aug. 10, below Cottonwood Pass shows a beautiful variety of wildflowers.  The wildflowers up high seem to be coming on a little later this summer because the heavy winter snowpack melted later.  The ground cover vegetation is very lush this summer.
