Chaffee County Community Foundation

The Chaffee County Community Foundation has launched a permanent Emergency Response Fund to give individuals and businesses who want to contribute to emergency response in Chaffee County, the mechanism to do so.

This fund will support the Decker Fire response and recovery, as appropriate and as needed, in coordination with Chaffee County government officials, non-profits and Salida relief stakeholders. Beyond the current situation, it will also establish a permanent bucket of local monies dedicated to responding to future, local community emergencies.

Given the increasing likelihood of severe weather, fire and other natural disasters, being able to “take care of our own” is one of the key pillars of the Foundation.

Fund proceeds will be held in accordance with the highest standards and disbursed to benefit individuals and families in need, as well as assist county and municipal departments, non-profits and citizens to respond in strategic and urgent ways alike.

CCCF will not charge any administrative fees for this fund and donations are tax deductible.
