The Chaffee County Attorney's Office in Salida, Colorado is accepting applications for a 30 to 40 hour/week Assistant County Attorney. The position involves the representation of the Chaffee County Department of Human Services as well as legal services to other departments and elected officials. This position is under the general direction of the County Attorney. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited law school, admission to the Colorado bar, working knowledge of the Colorado children's code and family law, and at least one year practical litigation experience in child welfare, juvenile delinquency, jury trials or related areas. Compensation (full time): $5,000/month - $6,000/month, DOE, plus benefits.
